Practice Quiz: SQ3R

In this practice quiz, you will be working with "Humanity on the Record" as the assigned reading text. You might want to open it in a second window to switch back and forth from text to practice quiz. When you have text open, do not read it. Instead, do the Survey step of SQ3R. Choose an activity or two for the survey. When you have completed the Survey step, answer the first question on the quiz.

The next step is making questions that you hope to have answered by reading the essay. You may turn headings into questions or form your own questions. Respond to practice quiz item two.

After Practice Quiz question 2, you are ready for read and recite steps with the text in which you are asked to highlight Topic Sentences and Major Support Details.  To evaluate yourself on this step, compare your highlighting to the highlighting in the document "Humanity on the Record Highlights"  NO PEEKING! Seriously, try to highlight on your own and compare it to the document after you are finished.

The last question on the practice quiz is the Review step.  Follow the directions for the last question with a response in the text box.  Best wishes!
